Howdy! 
I am Yessmeen (they/she), a queer, SWANA* filmmaker and arts administrator, based in Brooklyn, New York.

Originally from Texas, I moved to New York almost three years ago to pursue my goal of working full time in film and media. After a year-ish of barista-ing and freelance PA-ing, I now work as an Admin Assistant in Video Production at a record label, while also continuing to pursue my own creative endeavors outside of work, working as a film producer and production assistant.

My career so far crosses many forms of media such as film, performance, and music.  I bring diligence, energy, and compassion to any space I occupy. I care deeply about social justice, building community, and creating healthy spaces both for the creatives and the audience.
